I spent an hour tweaking an old painting which I always quite liked in spite of it's technical issues.
Returning to something you were proud of and evaluating it with the benefit of experience is super helpful and good for the soul; seeing how far you've come both in terms of technical ability and thought process/planning is weirdly inspiring

it looked like a peacefull scene, heroes walking by the river, untill i noticed falling stones on the right and that shape that resembles a man with a spear, standing in the darks in the bottom corner. Maybe it's not that peacefull after all.
