Thanks! Its based on an old basic bauplan, but with some tech remade from scratch.

Looks like a combination of aΒ Savoia-Marchetti and a flying wing.
I like.

Excellent pic. I like the attention to detail on not just the flying boat but also in the landscape below.

very convincing, it feels like you have actually birrin there and seen it all.

Awesome contrast of colors here, orange and blue work very nicely. I can see the sting ray and ocean ray inspiration - and if it wasn't - then you've created a very nice organic form that's perfect for floating and flying.
Would like to see more of these delicate flying machines from yah - especially ones with more unconventional engine design.

Inspired mostly by the flying liana seed actually!

Nice.
Evokes the lines of the Savoia-Marchetti S.55.

The movie "Porco Russo" lead me down the path of interwar machines.
Many ideas were tried. Not many still around.

The scene is incredible! The seven twelfth view behind slightly banking aircraft in addition to the cloudsΒ giving a sence of altitude and depth and remains bellow all make this scene powerful! Plus, the visibly worn out frame of the aircraft and eroded coastline, remains and mountains all tell a big story in one image, way more than a thousand words!
Was the float plane partly inspited by the Tarielka as the floats remind me of the ground-effect variant of it? www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wy0UNvβ¦
Is the aircraft painted orange for a practical purpose or does it have more of a symbolic meaning behind it?

Actually the main inspiration was en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alsomitrβ¦

Yes, that was the MAIN inspiration. What other inspirations did you use?

beautiful picture and very nice design - only thing that i do notice is the rear fins - if they would angle outward instead of inweard they would be out of propeller turbulence, and the whole ship would have less vibrations

I angled them inward to put them in the stream from the props, giving increased command authority

idk why for a moment i read the name as "Wrestling Wave" lol, still i love this hybrid boat/plane design of yours, looks so strange yet slightly possible which i think makes it all the more mayestic seeing it fly in the landscape of your alien (yet still similar to our own) world.

Begging your pardon, sir, but how in the heck do you come up with your aircraft designs? They honestly look like they could be made, and theyβre perfectly alien nevertheless!
