What if Asriel grew up? And became an adult? What would he look like? What would his magic abilities be? This is my interpretation, though I know I'm not the first to come up with them I just had to animate it. He has fire abilities like his parents, but is also able to summon a sword like when you fight him, and has random rainbow powers.
Gotta love all those rainbows.What about you guys? Do you have any other "What if" scenarios? maybe leave a comment if you do. I may make an animation based on it if I can come up with an idea for it.
I needed to do something that involved effects in some way, so I sort of chipped away at this every chance I could get. I did many things different than I normally would in animating this, such as animating on 3s rather than 2s just to see how it would look, and I also finally have an example of shading. This was made to look sort of anime-ish, but I'm not sure if I accomplished that.
Yes, I took the door in the background directly from the game, so no I didn't draw it. I was a bit lazy there.

I thought about this one time and it was super depressing. If Asriel had lived he'd have likely outlived his parents and Chara, and since there don't seem to be any other boss monsters left, he'd just live on forever without them.

So since this is a 'What if they lived' kind of a deal, what if Gaster was apart of the game? I don't mean the Gaster others have developed, like from what we know about Gaster as canon knowledge. What would be like? Would he be the main bad guy? Would he be neutral like Sans? Would they be rivals? Maybe all the above?

In my heart Asriel grew up, beloved be his family and friends and loved wholeheartedly by his people. He would take the throne from his father and be a wise and strong yet kind and fair king. I believe all of this because in my heart we saved him . .

I feel like he would have the rainbows due to him growing up to have a perfect understanding, and balance of all eight magics. Seeing how pure he was back then. He won't be as strong as he is in the cannon True Pacifist ending, but his fighting style will include all different kinds of styles waves of fire like his parents, A simillar attack to Asgore's trident attack, and his own version of the different kinds of attacks that the other monsters had. (Turning your soul different colors, and the like) His fight would also have different phases to include all of the magics, and to end the phases you would have to spare him like you did the other monsters. (This would take the place of the "Lost Soul" part)
