Here's another idea I had for Minecraft a while back. The picture been buried away in my My Pictures folder and I've only just found it. Anyway, here's my idea.

The idea is a new type of material to use for armour and tools: ruby. It's a gem like diamond, but it's not as strong or as durable. It's about midway between iron and diamond and it can mine all ores (coal and upwards), but not obsidian. It's quite rare, about as rare as gold ore.
I think it would also go quite well with RedPanda7's mob the Ore Trap, found here: [link] (All credit for this great mob idea goes to RedPanda7, of course)

Well, that's my new idea for Minecraft! (Not that new, but meh)
