Description I am trying to learn infrared photography and i would really like to improve.

OMG! this is such a beautiful photo, the water, the trees, the light peeking in through the trees, the reflections, the location are all beautiful. wow, I love infra-red photography, and the location you chose is so infra red friendly, definetly.

well I don't know much about infared either.. although someday I would love to learn it. From what I know this shot is quite nice
