Personality:

Motherly – As the eldest daughter of her family, she feels her responsibility to protect and help the others. This trait also helps in giving her some charismatic behavior and her coolheadedness to think calmly in harsh situations.

Stiff – Because of the harsh training in her childhood and a burden to become the next heir of her family bound by many regulations, she is somewhat grew as a bit of a stiff person.

Distrustful – This negative trait was born due to her environments of corrupt bureaucrats. She is hard to believe people and tends to move away from any person she doesn’t know well.

History:

Comes from a far away land to the east known as “Takamagahara”. Born to the noble knight family of the Phoenix Clan, one of Takamagahara’s four main clan which has supported the Sky Empire as the main battle force since ancient times. Legend said that the Phoenix Clan’s people are descendants of the mythical beast, Phoenix.

As the eldest daughter of the family, Shinra has been trained to be a knight since childhood, embracing loyalty and justice as her principle. Trained both her body and her soul, she grew up as a kind and strong-hearted woman.

After she became a full-fledged knight, she entered the Empire’s army and worked under the Sky Emperor who ruled over the land of Takamagahara. Adored and trusted, she was appointed to be the guardian of the Sky Emperor’s Successor. She pledged allegiance to the Successor and sworn sisterhood with her other three guardian acquaintances, each from a different clan. The Sisterhood now known as the ‘Saint Beast Guardians’, with Shinra takes the role as the eldest sister of the four.

Not long after, chaos grew within Phoenix Clan as its corrupted elders launched a Coup d’Etat and seized control of the clan’s government. It is said that the Phoenix Clan’s leader is an incarnation of a Phoenix, reborn as a different person from time to time to resume the chain of command in the clan. But now, the throne is empty because the former leader is long deceased and there is no successor. This opportunity was taken by the elders to reform the clan’s government and turned it into a dictatorial leadership. Many nobility was stripped from their ranks, and Shinra’s family was among them. Having suffered from this new corrupted government, hatred grew within her and brought her negative trait: distrustful.

Worried about Shinra’s welfare after a couple of years, the Sky Emperor’s Successor summoned her to his audience. He encouraged her not to give up and ask her if she really wants to save her clan, which she answered immediately that she do. Moved by her determination, the Sky Emperor’s Successor sent her on a secret mission to a far away land… To find a person whom she nor the Gods doesn’t even know… To find the true incarnation of the Phoenix.

Leaving behind her homeland, her beloved family, and determined to save her clan, she traveled across the oceans to the west, to the foreign kingdom known as… Fantasia.

- Her antennas above her ears are actually antennas (of a Phoenix), not wings.
- Despite her mastery in the arts of spear, she is quite adept in martial arts.
- She takes great pride being a descendant of the legendary mythical beast Phoenix.
- If she releases her phoenix power, she can grow wings on her back. But she rarely does this.
- Her Spear consists of a small flute and a pendant (as the edge) joined together.
- She shows passion in playing flute.
- Has a soft spot for cute things.
- She has a little sister who is three years younger than her. She cares for her deeply. (I’ll add her later lol )
