Description
The inhabitants of Abyssus display an odd range of colour and design that is unparalleled with anything we know in the modern world. Most anything seems to be possible, but for the sake of clarity, design types have been generalized into two subcategories; Wild Type (WT) and Aberrant Type (AT). Wild types most resemble wild canids that we know today who display natural colours on their coats in the style of wolf sable or agouti. Genetically, wild types are blank slates in a sense, in that while they are unmutated, they are the most susceptible to mutations as generations pass. Aberrant types however, are some of the more bewildering specimens on the planet, they can display explosive color and organized design in any number of ways. The aberrant type wolves are a fairly recent phenomena, and their recent bloom in appearance was somewhat of an enigma among the early civilizations of Abyssus. While their existence in the modern day is far more normalized than it used to be, there is still somewhat of a mysterious air about them, and they are more than capable of drawing eyes their way.
