Long-overdue fanart of the most recent Artemis Fowl book, The Time Paradox.For those of you who haven't read the book, Artemis is forced to go back in time and square off with his younger (far more evil) self after he learns that the only cure for his dying mother is the brain fluid of an extinct lemur species. Oh yeah, and he killed the last one.
On one level, the blood on Artemis's hands represents his inner conflict and his inevitable confrontation with his own past actions. On another level, it represents the near destruction of his relationship with Holly, who he deceives and betrays in order to carry out his objective.

Oh wow.. I'd have to say that (besides the picture itself) my favorite part here is the way you have Artemis staring at his shirt and the blood, something I'm sure he contemplated whenever he saw his younger self before. [And JayJay is sooooo cute!!!! <3]
[Eh, The Atlantis Complex? It was alright but personally I'm looking forward for the eighth. Though I won't turn down the Artemis/Orion on Holly goodness that Colfer graces us with
