Pt. 2 of ballgown redesigns! Here’s a more straightforward robe à l'anglaise (because my bff didn’t really like robe à la francaise-- has anyone ever seen a française without a stomacher closure? I’ve seen them on late anglaises) This was a compromise between wide and puffed sleeves. I’ve never seen any sleeves like the 2-puff-wide wrist-weird top sleeve ones on Cinderella’s in any historical style. The necklace is there to mimic her high collar with the standard low 18th-century neckline.
