Looking past Halloween (though I love it) I'm reminded of a question asked one thanksgiving: What are you thankful for? In this moment I think of my response

I'm thankful for my my life. Many times has it came close to ending. By my hand or another's. Practically a miracle I've made it this far

I'm thankful for my brothers. Through struggle and strife we've had one another. Mud covered hand in hand. Blood dripping at times. Just trying to reach the end of days.

I'm thankful for my parents. They're fuck ups. They know this. But they instilled the heart of a lion in me which will never fail. I've gotten up from the worst of knock downs.

I'm so thankful.
