I used this for a poetry cover... I think one of the only people who commented did because he/she thought it was just art.. so I'm gonna submit the picture and see what happens.I know.. the picture is too.. crowded..
and I'ts been a long time since I've done anything close to cell shading.. or drawn Rept... so yeah, It's Rept (my character) sittin on steps (which you can't even see

Just for the record, I read your poem first, then decided to check this out. Everyone can look back at even the suckiest of times at school and remember the little things that made it all matter. And the text you used in that one's pic was great.
As for the picture here, I don't think it's too cluttered at all- I think that all the bright colors, harsh texture and all those strokes so full of motion really bring a tense feeling to the piece. By adding all those tests and problems and thought scribbles it really helps to focus all that applied stress into the subject of the pic. And there you are, amidst all the angst and pressure of school. Maybe you think you can't handle it or deal with it any longer at this rate, so you just sit there (and spend the nice weekend indoors trying to recoop)...
Rept's sketchyness is really fabulous, and it really helps to make him fit into the picture.
