For those of you that are confused about the "Three Muses" thing:
There were originally three muses: Aoede, Melete, and Mneme. Later on, another muse was added, and finally, the intermediate four were completely replaced with the nine we know today.
Happy now?
As for why I would know this... well, Aoede is a fascination of mine.

Being the greek myth buff that I am i have to say those are not muses. They are the three graces. Muses were nine in number. While the Graces were three.
Enough said about that, this is a truly wonderful peice. You deserve another favorite plus watch ^-^

I have to note here that though the "most recent" number for the Muses was nine, before that it was seven, before that four, and then originally three (Aoide, Melete, and Mneme if you're wondering... though some have mentioned there originally being only one, but I haven't heard that as often). However, they could also be the Graces as well.
I do agree that this piece is lovely.

Really like the color and brush strokes. Gives it a sense of extreme mastery, a virtuoso painting vs. a photomanipulation (not that one art form is superior to the other).

Wow, itβs beautiful I thought it was a painting when I first saw it. I love the colour scheme and the poses of the three women in the picture creates a nice calm mood. Simply beautiful.

Beautiful. But don't you think it would just be "The Three Muse." I dunno just sound more like it to me. The textures and the little shimmers of light that the woman on the top left seems to be trying to coerce or beautiful.

There's something about the posing. And the way that it doesn't really seem like there's a background. More of brush strokes that somehow resemble the likeness of flowing curtains if one were to use their imagination to glance.
I like the feeling. And I think I would rather see brush strokes resembling curtains, even if it really were just curtains to begin with.
(The imagination's a powerful, very grand thing. Afterall.)
