so thaumaturges seen other faiths like "Christianity / Buddhism/ Sikhism ETC.." as a attrosity (vain truths) to the single great truth bestowed by paragon (contradiction is truth, creation to nothing, nothing to eternity) meaning by seeing reality through a new light we see death holds the end (no afterlife or all that jazz) and by seeing the end we become eternal.
now i know your thinking that thaumaturges are anti-religious at this point and I get were your thinking BUT eons ago when thauma(thaumaturge race) were just starting out they were bullied and maimed by many outside cultures and faiths so eons that hate that built up to a point were paragon wanted these (in his words) "vile cists removed from every star system that the thauma encounter but the existing civilization would stay the same under the guidance of the great truth.".
as for the fusion here of me and a friend thaumsona just for fun and also more lore 0-0
basically, fusion between thaumaturges can only occur when two thaumaturges have a similar strong emotion that causes their bodies to meld, there is a strong possibility of unfusing if both parties want it but it will hurt like getting a pinprick. (note: fusion in this AR is really rare at best because it doesn't happen often but when it does a new world of possibilities are open to the fusion.
