This piece means a lot to me.

One year ago I was struggling... Fall/Winter are my favorite times of the year, but I wasn't myself- I wasn't excited about the upcoming holidays and seasons... I was depressed, unsure where the path I traveled would take me, scared of the future and what I was doing with my life. Fall of '15 was hard for me to overcome.
But it passed. It passed slowly and full of heartache but it passed. And now a whole year has flown by, full of hope, adventure, new experiences, new friends and places, but more importantly- full of love.

December 4th, 2015, he saw me. Only for a minute before I was pulled away by a friend, but he knew. It wasn't until the 5th that was able to introduce myself to and formally meet the most kindhearted, caring, cat that changed my life. Neither of us would admit it in the beginning, but it was love at first sight. We spent the winter practically glued to each other, never wanting to separate even for a day.
Fall reminds me of the coming winter and the previous one I spent falling in love with cat I was made to be with.

Fall and Winter are my favorite times of the year, they always have been, but now they mean even more, now they are full of memories of an important turning point in my life. I got better, I was finally happy, and I fell in love. And now, more importantly, I get to share these times with the love of my life and create more unforgettable memories for years to come.

I love you Michael, my sweet kitty.
