Just finished old crabcakes in time for me to tend to my Sociology senior seminar paper and the poster commission.XDPlease let me know what you think of the colors...I'm not too confident about the final product. Again, C & C most appreciated.

Colors seem to be spot on great. The shading is also real perfect, I think all that's missing is the "Vac metal" style to make sure he comes out as a Transmetal, otherwise, great job!

As for the coloring, I might have added a bit more contrast to the lights and shadows. ^^ Aside from that, it seems fine to me!

Thanks for the recommendation! Other fan-artists have more or less suggested that I add an extra shadow layer to add depth--I'll see if I can address that by Wednesday.

Have you ever played the TF/BW Transmetals game for the Playstation? (cause i don't member if Rampage was included in the N64 version...) Thay made him such a badass char in that, and gave him the coolest, creepiest, best lines he's ever had. I dunno if he's even actually said half that stuff in the show or not but it was enough to give ya shivers down your spine, hehe. They need to bring back his voice actor and give him a part in the next tf series...

Otherwise, if I ever find a time among the several dozen projects on my desk, I'll see if I can try illustrating a short comic story of X's rampage on Omicron (right after this poster commission and a prequel to WW vol. 1

You could probably find it for pretty cheap over ebay too. it's a pretty good game. (for one of those total melee in a 3d environment fighting game things) The characters are what make it sweet as hell though, and the fact that they got the actual show voice actors to do it. And Rampage owns everybody. And Ravage is a hidden char. and rocks as well.
And a mini-comic sounds pretty sweet. I would have settled for just seeing a robot mode companion piece to this one (like everyone else is clamoring for, heh) but a comic would be all the cooler. That WW prequal sounds pretty sweet too. Hope we get a chance to see some more ww versions of rare or never-really-used-before chars. That was always one of the coolest parts about WW.

Thanks very much for the info on the game...oooh so it sounds a bit like the old Virtua Fighter/Tekken eh? I initially thought it was like 2-d capcom/street fighter style. *Is now tempted to go search for it* XD
As for a Rampage bot mode piece--that I had planned way long ago (found in the scraps section as MTMTE type pieces) and will get to it eventually. As for the X/Depth Charge fan comic thing I'll see how it works out since I don't have a set story nor designed cast set in stone yet. And the WW idea I hope to at least get some (or one

It's not quite like a VF or Tekken. The environment is a little more interactive, and instead of a linearish fighting where the chars face each other and fight (like those) you run around freely in the "square" of 3d environment. it's kind of like the Power Stone games for the Dreamcast or Destrega for the PS (dunno if you ever played those).

I think that you did an excellent job coloring it, the shading that you did is fantastic, you didn't go too dark, or overtly bright when you didn't need too. I see it's a great rendition of him all around!
