The legendary "Unknown Cyborg", from my collection. This is a early 1970s prototype toy from Takara in Japan, similar to their Henshin Cyborg toys but somewhat smaller and styled a bit differently. This is a hardcopy in transparent resin with metal joint rivets, springs and other metal hardware. It has spectacular detail, extensive articulation, and the body came be taken apart at each joint. It has spring-loaded 'jumping' action in its lower legs, and an extensive array of Takara-standard 5mm sockets scattered around its body. The torso has elements that seem to have been meant for some internal mechanical feature.
