Halloween is just around the corner, and we've already started the fun with the 'Halloweek 2021' special! And, nobody better to debut this special stamp than Dracula himself! In this issue, facing Andrew Bennett (I... Vampire!).
Dracula is in the public domain. His character has been explored in many comics, including those released by Marvel, DC and many other publishers. His first comic book appearance is said to be 'Kid Eternity #4' (Jan, 1947). On this cover we use the probably best known/beloved version published in 'The Tomb of Dracula' (1972-1979) by Marvel. Andrew Bennett first appeared as the main character of the 'I... Vampire' series for 'House of Mystery' #290 (Mar, 1981) written by J.M. DeMatteis. Most recently, Andrew Bennett was given an ongoing series called I, Vampire written by Joshua Hale Fialkov as part of The New 52.
