Description
Long story short, I have an uncle who's a rockhound who cuts a lot of stones...so I happen to have a few odd cabochons and cut odd looking ones laying around, and figured I'd try and light them up and shoot them with the 60mm macro lens. Here's the initial results of that. These are shots of 1x1.5ish inch cabochons if you want to know how large the things are, and I didn't set up a tripod on my workbench (I probably should have, I'll do a more elaborate setup in the future with better lighting too when I know what I'm doing). Anyway they're pretty interesting.
