The REAL Star Trek kickers were:
* the Dominion War of STAR TREK: Deep Space 9 (which lasted the length of an acutual war- 3 years) which was a war between the major stellar governments of the Alpha & Beta Quadrants of the Milky Way Galaxy (Federation, Klingons, Romulans) vs The totalitarian rulers of the Gamma Quadrant- The Dominion! (plus their servant races the Cardassians & Breen)
Star Trek: DS9 is also the first series to follow a black captain trying to raise a son as a single parent on board a space station commerce port, while also helping planet Bajor recover after a >*Nazi-style*< occupation from the Cardassians.
* The whole series of Voyager- which was about the lone vessel USS Voyager stranded 75K+ Light Years from Earth. They made alliances, lasting friendships, but also enemies and bad experiences, as they ventured through the Delta Quadrant of the Milky Way. Cpt. Kathryn Janeway is remembered as the franchises most badass captain.

Yvain Gnabro was the principal animator for the OVERWATCH shorts which came before. He was 1 of the team members in charge. The "In memory" at the end was because he died in a vehicle collision a couple weeks ago.
