Really, but I liked the ninja.
If you do make him more military, keep in mind: all-purpose armor, a armory for multiple, & a comprehension of lay-out exploitation. In other words, the Batman ARKHAM Games.

I felt that having the Asian on the team be the ninja was too...cliche...and stereotypical.
he's still gonna be great at acrobatics and stuff just have more of a military style to him.

Ninjas are EXCLUSIVELY Japanese, so the question is are you making Nathan of Japanese descent?

True but I still don't want Nathan to be a ninja. I just feel like I went too fast to label Nathan a ninja without even realizing it....It's true that Nathan isn't Japanese (He's Korean) but I feel like Asians are always associated with ninja and samurai heroes whether they are Japanese or not.

If you want Nathan to be
different from Asian stereotype heroes, make him the student of a
Special Forces officer who also trained him for urban and all terrain
combat. Don't make his look spandex. That doesn't work well w/ human
characters using gear for heroism.
Make him more multi-skill
suited and common dressed- like from Assassin's Creed w/ a cool
hoodie-vest w/ tools & similar body armor like the Robins from
Batman.
Kinda like these guys, they use easy-fit armor

Really good really. 25 episodes, 2 films (1st film actually retells ep. 1-2 w/ unique epilogue), XLNT story. Overall, I'd rate the series as 8/10.

The series takes place in "NC 1978" in a fictional, re-imagined version of New York City called Stern Bild City, where 45 years before, superpowered individuals known as "NEXT" (an acronym standing for Noted Entities with eXtraordinary Talents) started appearing and some of them became superheroes. Each of the city's most famous superheroes work for a sponsor company and their uniforms also contain advertising for real-life companies. Their heroic activity is broadcast on the popular television show "Hero TV", where they accumulate points for each heroic feat accomplished (arresting criminals or saving civilians, for example) and the best ranked hero of the season is crowned "King of Heroes".
The companies sponsoring the superheroes are named after Greek gods.
The story mainly focuses on veteran hero Kotetsu T. Kaburagi aka Wild Tiger who is assigned a new partner, a young man named Barnaby Brooks Jr. However, Barnaby and Kotetsu usually have trouble working together as they have conflicting opinions on how a superhero should act while at the same time trying to crack the mystery of the murder of Barnaby's parents. In addition, the appearance of a homicidal vigilante NEXT named "Lunatic" stirs up the public and makes them question the meaning of heroes.
2nd film is 100 mins. long and is fantastic to fans who followed the 25 episodes.

The Hero TV is a side story & plot device to add drama by way of how civies see the hero fight. The real threat is a terrorist Organization called Ouroboros, and the guy who really killed Barnaby's parents in a house fire.

By investing time in these programs, your actually expanding your comprehension of story, character relation dynamic, & the plot development process. No, I totally get that but I also want to take a breather and look at my story for what it is.
I've watched tons of stuff that inspired me to love superheroes and want to make a comic...but I feel like I just need to get away from it all sometimes and just focus on what I want, without twisting my story because I got hyped on another show.

Ah... that's why I suggested Discharger w/ an R at the end. 1 letter, that's all you need to avoid a name issue.
Oh, you could make that a joke btw the twins in their naming, Jackie calls herself Discharger, and Quintin points out there's the comic character. But yeah, Charger is cool. Oh, and Moxie means force of character, determination, or nerve, and the name of the official soft drink of Maine since May 10, 2005.
I give my heroes pseudonyms (false names) for public use- my British hero Celestial, his pseudonym to the press is Aquilus Skyborne, while his real name is Adrian. Yeah.
