I know this is a bit weird but when I look at the Angels face, in my mind, she looks like someone who is being forced to have an abortion Maybe thats just me being screwed up
I love the Halo of hands they just...God there are no words for how beautiful it is. Oh and one last thing, it seems as the though the black is pulling her towards hell, as if shes been kicked out of heaven. In this piece I don't see a sacrifice, I see someone who has been a naughty angel and so her wings are being taken as is her position in heaven, but thats just my point of view.
MY GOD this wallpaper works on so many levels. One of the few pieces of visual art thats made me look at it and think more deeply about it than 'oh thats pretty'. Love your work, I'm going to start DevWatching so expect more comments but for now theres only one thing left to say:

Well done! The composition on this one is perfect - the sparksles in the sky tie in witht he sparkles around the bottom, the purples, greens and blues feel cool while the light from the sky and the clouds shine warmth on the angel. great work. i also really like how you softened up the lines on her face because it fits in more with the picture.

hey. wow i really like this piece as well as the others... i love the presence of despair shown on the angel's face. i love the colors as well.. the light blue and the shimmering purple contrasted to the black edges really make them stand out.. im very impressed. nice job

Great detail on the wings, I just love how u perfected them, but I don't like how the wallpaper goes from blue to orange, the holy light would look cooler just blue instead of orange like a sunrise

Im too lazy to go through all the comments so if I repeat something, my bad...great composition here and like I said in the other peices of this series you have some wicked airbrushing skills...my only crit are those big balls of light on the topmaybe make them big then becoming small with the lights and then eventually blend into the lights that are coming down...your blending skills are superb here....my only question is what do the hands represent?....

it's a great looking piece you've got here. I'm not big on allegories or symbolism so I'm not exactly sure what the halo of hands is supposed to mean, if anything at all. Her expression makes me think she's looking to God to make sure her sacrifice is the right thing. The holy lights from heaven shine on her for her selfless act, while the black tounges pull her deeper.
it's beautiful. I especially like her wings. they don't look feathery. they look like a radiant gift that only god could give.

although...i would have changed the atmosphere..like this you have great contrasts but it would have looked better if it was "bluer" the rain effect is great...love it...i would have also lowered the opacity of the hands...
