This was done for round 1 of a graphic competition recently. I initially had creative block and was contemplating not entering all together! I must say I am pleased with the end result as it was extremely hard to source the stock images for some of the actors/artistes to be in this fictitious film.

Here are the terms of the competitions 1st round:

Graphics Battle - Methodologi vs Mixmasterkevin

Situation: Sony Pictures is coming out with a new movie entitled "Shottas II" starring Ky-Mani Marley, Spragga Benz, Wyclef and a host of entertainers.

Task: You are required to design the official movie poster to the movie "Shottas II". You can use any picture of the stars and also include other entertainers of your choice. You may put your credits at the bottom of the poster.

You can use [link] for sample movie posters.

Size: 1000 x 1482 pixels (not actual poster size)

Due Date: Monday, October 1, 2007.

Graded on: Use of creativity, imagination and overall artwork.

Winner moves on to the semi finals.
