You seem to combine paint and pastel a lot. Pastel is a really touchy medium, and I'm curious in what order you work it in, if there's any? Pastel over dried paint, I'm assuming?
Oh, and nice picture. The detail's wonderful. I wonder how long it took you, or in how many sittings?
