Ah yes, Lucia finally gets her very own den. After constant pleading from the young Lucia, the cub was finally able to get  her own den! Except, it's not her very own, she's still living with her mother. Her mother, Valeria , has a nice den, one of which had another section. Once you traveled through a short tunnel like area, there was another mini den. One which Lucia got all to herself. Well, not entirely. Sometimes, her mother uses it for storage for some extra herbs. However after constant complaining from Lucia, she had no other choice but to leave the den alone.

Clearly, Lucia has made herself at home. If it wasn't for her mother's constant lecturing, Lucia's room would be an utter mess. It's already chaotic as it is, however, it'd be an even larger disaster if it weren't for Valeria making sure that Lucia doesn't trash the place. It's a small thing, nothing too impressive. Yet, Lucia absolutely adores it. Her own room! Or in her case, den.

Right at the back of the den, she has a large nest of moss, leaves, and other soft greenery that her mother finds. It's huge as Lucia is a busy sleeper, always tossing about. She needs lots of bedding! On the left side of the walls, she has her paw print painted. On the right side of the walls, she's messily painted herself and the rest of her family. Valeria, her loving mother, and Mtumishi , her.. Not so great father. Either way, the cub has him painted on the walls so that she can always be in his presence since usually, he doesn't want her in his  presence anyway.

Hanging from the corner of her den lives Chad, the spider she's affectionately named. Chad has been in this part of her and her mother's den since they came back to Nguvu, likely taking shelter from the floods. Since Lucia moved in, she hasn't had the heart to actually kill Chad and often finds insects to feed him with. It doesn't matter how often Luci tells her mother that Chad is apart of the family now, the adult lioness swears that she'll stomp it one day.

In the middle of her den, which irritates her mother endlessly, are the flowers she was promised by Inaya . Having been born in Mlima's luscious territory rather than Nguvu's harsh territory, Lucia had gotten used to the greenery that Mlima territory offered. Once they headed back to Nguvu after the floods cleared, Lucia was more than disappointed. Inaya, however, promised to fetch her flowers to remind her of her birth land and she sure did! And several! African daisies, gold and red. A beautiful combination. They really sparked color in her den. Problem is, Lucia wants nothing more than to hang the flowers across the walls. However, being a small cub, she can't exactly reach the top of the caves. And so, for now, until she can get proper help, they're laying about.

Likely the most peculiar thing in her den is her training dummy located near the entrance of the den. Yes, it certainly doesn't look like one but it is! It's homemade, okay? Just don't question it. It's made up of a dead tree's trunk, one of which she found simply lying about in Nguvu's main part of camp. Likely dragged by the flood's water. Lucia being the hoarder that she is, decided on dragging the thing to her den despite her mother's nagging. She doesn't know what she's talking about, this is great! Ahriman , a fearsome warrior of Nguvu, claimed that she needed a mentor and to train. Ever since meeting Mshindi for the first time as well and openly winning a very public spar against the adolescent, the cub has been wanting to practice her skills as a warrior more and more. What better way to do it than doing it on Mshindi himself?

Well, not Mshindi himself. But a crappy replica of him. Stumbling upon a papaya one afternoon, Lucia, once again, decided to roll the thing back to her den and place it on top of the trunk. Her little trophy! What an odd looking thing. Her mama said it was a fruit but, it didn't look very tasty. So, she wouldn't eat it. Then, the shape of the fruit reminded her of something. Or more specifically, of someone. Mshindi, the Lipard himself! An idea sparked to her head. Rushing out of her den, Lucia eagerly looked about for Nguvu's well known long, dead, yellow grass. It took a minute but she finally got enough! Giving it a nice trim and really annunciating the density of the grass, Lucia put it atop of the papaya and used some red flower dye to paint on some eyes, a nose, and a grumpy looking mouth. Perfect, it was Mshindi! One thing was missing however..

Cheekily, Lucia cut a bit of the papaya's side that looked round like an ear. Perfect, now it was Mshindi.
