Ripper once belonged to a Decepticon, many cycles ago. But sadly, his master was scrapped during the war, leaving the beast alone on Cybertron. So now, Ripper seeks a new master, one to take care of him, and for him to serve and protect. Though Ripper has a bot form, it's extremely rare for him to change out of his Predicon form. Ripper is quite docile, but will attack if he feels threatend, he's very loyal, he can also be loving and playful, and will give up his spark to protect his master. In a nutshell, he's pretty much a Cybertronian dog. Ripper is completely driven by Predicon instincts, hence the reason he doesn't change into his bot form a lot, but even when he does, he still acts on instinct, than sentient thought. In a fight, Ripper uses his claws and teeth, and can even turn into a rolling wheel of spikes, and with the right amount of momentum, he can tear into anything he comes in contact with.

There you go, that's Ripper. A very loyal pet one minute, then a savage beast the next. Think you got what it takes to be his master, or will you become his prey?
