Wow. Just wow! This is amazing, really. I have yet to read the comics but the artwork had me enchanted. I always thought it was splendid; I almost bought the book as soon as I saw the cover. Long time fan of Firefly/Serenity, and I get the feeling I'm shaping up to be a fan of yours as well!

kay, if you're the real artist for these comic covers i WORSHIP the ground you walk on my friend! I love the covers for all things Joss Whedon and was actually inspired by the guy and the Serenity cover.

edit* I didn't mean inferior artwork in Serenity as I have never seen them before. I meant comics based on things I like like 'Silent Hill'.

I had no idea you did Serenity. You rendering is Mal is utterly beautiful! You must have spent a lot of time with his character! You nailed it! Utterly stunning. He is so strong.
You also managed to get Inara's enigmatic spiritual energy wonderfully, along with her vulnerability.
With Mal looking away and Inara looking vulnerable you have captured their relationship problems and despite the obvious situation complexities lead to them not being completely honest!
Go on Mal, just cuddle her!
Your composition is excellent also.
I also really really love that you have depicted them in a cold and wild looking planet but Serenity lies there overlooking like a warm glowing heart central to the scene, mirroring it's warm centrality to all the character's lives.
I am a massive Serenity fan and have avoided the comics due to unsuitable and oxymoronic art work, that was until now.

AAAAAHHHHH! i can't believe it! i am totally in love with both serenity and firefly, also i was amazed by the art of these comics because their expressions and poses were so like the characters and actors. I'm so shocked that i've found you just randomly browsing through works. I saw one of yours and decided to check out your gallery.
