Description

Hello everyone, here's a personal project of mine that I did some time ago. It's a slightly updated Acclamator as we saw it in the Attack of the Clones but never got actual Clone Wars-era markings on the actual model except for the tv series.

The shape and main features are all in line with the original ship but obviously it's more detailed than the one we saw in the show.

If you're interested in commissions, you can visit my journal page for more details:

You can also check out my patreon where I post only personal projects and give renders of my ships for download (also for free)

Always wanted other paint jobs, like what colors the clones used

One of my favorite capital ships from the Clone Wars. I wish we could've seen more of these in action in the series. The size and bulky nature makes me feel like they actually could've made variants of the ship, similar to how our world makes variants of military ships.

The Venator was a good carrier/multi-purpose ship, but I feel like the Acclamator could've been turned into something akin to a WWII battleship, a lot of firepower and decently sized and sturdy to handle enemy capital ships.

They were also the main ships used by in the original Clone Wars series by Genndy Tartakovsky before the Venators replaced them during the later half.

Slight issue. The Acclamator's bridge is specifically stated to not have windows.

That was in legends, and was retconned by the Clone Wars animated series anyways, which gave them visible windows.

Yeah. It used viewscreens that simulated windows, similar to what future airliners are going to be using. Given that this is an assault/landing ship, it makes sense for it to have a fully enclosed bridge.

The Acclamator is up there with my list of favorite capital ships(with the top 10)because there’s just something about that screams β€œREPUBLIC”
Very good work on it

Nice take on the CW era Acclamator, the proto-ISD and the sign of things to come!

I'm curious with the wing stripes, did you consciously make them smaller to get better proportions? I've seen other fan ships with bigger striping. Yours is definitely more subdued.
