Render of a Star Wars model, which was commissioned, but unfortunately got abandoned in the end.Model is available for download, although I had to simplify some of the textures and material effects. I hope there are no problems with applying maps, as I connected objects so that therere's only a few for the whole ship. Click the RAR thumbnail for the download file and have fun

If you are interested in getting a CGI image created for you, please continue to the section you are interested in. There are three sections:
2D section covers all kind of colored, shaded images, preferably drawn with outlines.
3D works is about polygonal objects of all kinds, textured and with some post-processing for nice looks.
Vector images refer to things drawn with hard lines and occasional shading, such as blueprints and ink-like drawings.
I do all kinds of art and I'm opened to different styles (vector drawings of a Star Wars ship, 3D render of a Stargate vehicle, blueprint for a Dune tank and of course every kind of original universe objects and scenes) so don't be afraid to ask for anything that you can think of.

Instead of pulling out old Falcon out of mothballs, they really should have done a new ship. Or at least had Han spend a number of years doing a full restoration on his ship so it didn't look like a flying hunk of junk that worked when it wanted to.
This looks like what the ship filling in for the Millennium Falcon should look like.

Second,(WARNING: The following is a nerd moment! U hav Ben Warnd) The very original Falcon design had the cockpit between the front struts and Lucas had in moved to the side to give it Asymmetry and make it stand out against the standard Sci-Fi ship design.(Thank you for your patience in the Nerd Moment. I heard the MF was originally meant to be a bit like the cruiser in the beginning of episode IV but then 2001 came out so they changed it and I ehard it was designed after an olive sitting next to a burger.

The VERY first drafts are what became the ship you see in IV's opening being chased, the First draft of what actually Became the Falcon is wut I'm talk'n 'bout. It's in one of the specials they did, ever since I saw that it was like "OK so I'm not losing my mind." It always looked to me like that's where it went. And...Asymmetry in ships drives me up a bulkhead

Visually asymmetry triggers some deep rooted OCD in me. And and game I play from cockpit view can NOT have asymmetrical ships, it messes with my spacial awareness

Oh I remember something was said on the extra DVDs of the original trilogy. I would have to rewatch them though, because I don't remember what was the exact story about the Falcon.

The actual first concepts of the falcon by ralph mcquarrie were almost identical to the ship that was later used as the Tantive IV, the rebel blockade runner.

You're welcome. Yeah, you can just use the MF as a sort of template and go from there. And, it doesn't look like the Outrider, as piloted by someone called Dash Rendar, so I don't know.

the Millenium Flacon is a YT-1300 class, and the Outrider is a YT-2400 class.
