She is the step brother to Hal Emmerich (aka Otacon). Her original name was Emma Danziger, until Hal's father Huey Emmerich married Julie Danziger and then Huey adopted Emma and she became an Emmerich.
Emma idolizes her big brother and wants to follow in his footsteps, but at what cost...
