This began as a wrestling match between The Great and Powerful TRIXIE and some unimportant background pony named Sunset Shimmer ... but then I changed EVERYTHING! And now I don't know what's going on, but I guess Twilight is bringing Trixie home to Ponyville, and Coco's gonna be Sweetie's new big sister or something (I bet they'd get along like peas in a pod). Sunset is only there because someone paid her ... to, um, teach Scoots how to wrestle ... um, yeah. Either that or she's on her way home and doesn't like the company.I can't believe this is the first piece of art I post since Season 4 began.

Twilight would be best with somepony fascinated with magic, and Trixie is the only character who really fits that. Also, now that Trixie apologized they can have a friendly rivalry that could become something greater.

Maybe haters such as me have to view it from a different angle: Twilight exploited her friends to become famous, and Trixie punched strangers in the face for that purpose. They're both scumbags in their own right, so maybe they are made for each other.
However, it is alot more entertaining to watch those two blasting each other to bits in a magic duel.

Actually, this is a publicity shot from the dress rehearsal of "Early Train to Hamsteed", the smash off-Broadneigh production by Foal Coward. Scootaloo has, amusingly, broken character, and is poking the backdrop, which is why Coco and Sweetie Belle are sharing an embarrassed grin. Fortunately, the focus is on Twilight and Trixie, who are about to launch into "Back on Track", their big opening number.

So, Coco is taking care of Sweetie for a few days because Rarity is out of town on an important trip or something. Sunset Shimmer is there because she's (somehow) become friends with Scootaloo, or maybe has been forced to babysit her for some reason, and Scoots dragged her there to show her something.
Twi and Trixie are just sharing a friendly hug, and Twilight is wishing her good luck on her new career in Manehattan. What's her career? I don't know, you make up that part.
