Description fire rains
onto the earth
catching hold of life
like napalm

the sun smolders
through shadows
and teases me
with reminders

denied of warmth
the flames pour
down
enveloping me
with the sharp edge
of uselessness

buried beneath the yellowed grass
I stare into the frigid ice sky
maybe I would stay out here
getting pushed down upon
by the changing tides

waiting for
redgoldyelloworangepumpkingrey
to disappear
and night to set in

it's full of melancholy but beautiful - I like especially the last part with all the colours and with the last line
