As an aside: as user-friendly as sharpies are, I would caution against using them for fine art. Because their ink is solvent-based, it is not only not archival, but will actually degrade and eat away at the paper over time. Which sucks, because they're such handy buggers. :/
(If you'd like recommendations for archival-but-still-permanent alternatives, I'd be happy to provide -- just don't want to rudely presume and give you advice without knowing first if you're interested.

Thanks! Yeah, I've been hearing sharpies aren't the best for art, but I don't think markers will be something I get into on a regular basis. This was a one time random thing, and a sharpie just happened to be what I needed at the time I needed it.
