I think I have drawn a grand total of *three* faeries in my entire life... This is the third one, which I don't think I ever posted on DA before. A spontaneous little woodland nymph/fae with bubbles, drawn for BlackNyx back in 2005. ^__^ This was done with pencil, watercolor, and colored pencils.Related content

i think the outlines could be more dynamic, play a little with light and shadow. But the picture is Great, I like it!

This is one of those pieces that for no apparent reason just get me. I look at it, and looks like a whole new world or something. I don't know, there are not many pictures that do so, but this is most certainly one of them.

i'm glad you're going to try to color it. i think it would look great finnished. i'm particularly fond of the shoulders and the way you've achieved a good balance between the fuzzy/furry and the smooth look for the skin. the wing design is pretty intricate. it's kind of hard to pull off that tattered wing look and still make the wings look like that's the way they're supposed to look, they're not damaged. but i think maybe you did it here.
