How to install Stable Diffusion Locally(no coding)What you'll need:The main files - https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui A Model ckpt - https://rentry.org/sdmodels WinRAR/WinZIP - https://www.win-rar.com/download.html?&L=0 4GB or more of VRAM(Video Card Memory)Python (software) - https://www.python.org/downloads/, If you've download and installed a zipping application, and installed Python(Use the default install settings) you're ready to begin installed Stable Diffusion locally. You first step is going to be to download a copy of the main files repo. I'm currently using AUTOMATIC1111's since it seems to be the most popular. So you'll head to this website - https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui once there, you'll notice a big green button that says Code.,Click that and it'll have a dropdown box with multiple options, from here, you're going to click 'Download as ZIP' at the bottom of the dropdown menu.,Once downloaded, navigate to your downloads folder, or wherever you downloaded it to and Right Click it, and extract it to the location of your choice.,Once extracted, inside you'll see a bunch of files. It's okay, don't worry, we don't need to mess with any of that. Instead, we're going to now go to the models page and pick which model we want to use - https://rentry.org/sdmodels - There is ALOT here, and not all of them are SFW. For this guide, I'm using the Stable Diffusion v1.4 [4af45990] [7460a6fa] [06c50424]model. You'll click it and it'll bring you down to where you can get links to download the model.,The middle one, HuggingFace, is the official website, but it requires a login, so unless you have one, the other two options are your choice. Once you've downloaded your model you'll have a filed called sd-v1-4.ckpt,You'll want to rename this file to model.ckpt, like this,Then, you can just Drag, and drop that new model file directly into the base directory of the unzipped repo. In the same folder with 'webui.bat',Once you do that, it's pretty much done. Now, you'll click on the webui.bat file.,A CMD window will pop up and begin the process of installing all the dependencies and such. It can take a few minutes and seem like your computer is frozen, don't worry, it's fine. Once it finishes it'll present you with a URL to copy. You'll copy it and paste it into the web browser of your choice.,,,,,Make sure to keep your CMD window open since that is what's hosting your Stable Diffusion, close it when you're done with your session.
