This Dutch Angel is available for adoption.
Sylvie is based on a red-eyed treefrog. I remember being very fond of rainforest animals when I was young, and frankly, I still am. Her temporary name of “Sylvie” is a variation on “sylva” (latin for forest), and her crests and tail are meant to mimic tropical leaves. Sylvie is actually the first dutch I designed with spotted paw pads.
Side note: Does anyone else have memories of an old TV show about rainforest animals? It had a bird, a sloth, and a frog I think, and they were puppets. I am sure the show existed but I am clueless as to what its name was or what channel it was shown on. Please tell me someone else remembers this and that I’m not crazy!
