I don't oft write anything to the artists whose pieces I enjoy. Actually, it's happened only twice thus far. I feel compelled to share my thoughts on this one, though.
First, I'd like to mention how much of a Lisbeth Salander vibe this gives off. I don't know if you've read Stieg Larsson's Millenium Trilogy (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, etc.) If not, - I strongly recommend you do.
I usually go through 5-6 wallpapers a month, and I've had this image as my wallpaper for the last month, or so, and I haven't even considered changing it.
Everything about this piece is appealing. From the character's stance - both aggressive, and defensive at once; the choice of color for the clothing - uniform black, with minor monochromatic highlights; the neutral, taupe background; to the splash of orange, emphasizing the bike's presence, - all these factors come together to crate a well-balanced, truly interesting piece that stands on its own.
The numerous small details combined with the rough, sketch-like style work very well to give this piece a feeling of completion. It says everything it needs to, and nothing more.

Thhis is my first critique ever so here it goes. One word BadAss. I love the tuff girl I see in this picture. I'm so focused on her that I kinda forgot there was a bike behind her.I noticed the intensity in the eyes. I adore her clotehs her jacker especially. I also like the contrast of the colors between the wall, the bike and the rider. I mean that's a sexy bike, but anyway I love how the painting is kinda sketchy looking. Very nice, I think you did a wonderful job. I hope my critique helps good luck
