Description
Reigned - 2650 BCEQueen Gilgamesha, the ruler of the great city of Uruk, was a woman of unmatched beauty, intelligence and strength. She was widely known for her oppresive and tyrannical rule. The gods created a heroine named Enkidu to defeat the cruel Queen. However, in a twist of fate, Queen Gilgamesha and Enkidu befriend each other.
Queen Gilgamesha and Enkidu go on several notorious escapades. They kill the divine beast Humbaba, pillage the sacred Cedar forest and Gilgamesha even smugly insults God Ishtar when he makes romantic advances. Enraged by this, Ishtar sends Bull of Heaven to defeat them but Gilgamesha and Enkidu managed to slay the beast.
Angered by Enkidu's betrayal the gods kill her as a revenge. Gilgamesha weeps bitterly as her best friend's death makes her aware of her own mortality. Gilgamesha was plagued by a feeling of emptiness in her heart.
Fearing death, she sets off to discover the secret of eternal life. Along the way, she faced many challenges and battled fierce monsters, but she never lost her determination. Despite that the secret of eternal life kept on eluding Gilgamesha.
Eventually, she met a wise woman named Siduri, who told her that true immortality could not be found in the physical world. Instead, she advised Gilgamesha to embrace life's impermanence and cherish each moment as if it were her last.
Gilgamesha realized that she had been searching for something that was unattainable, and that the true secret to happiness lay in living life to the fullest. She returned to Uruk with a newfound sense of purpose, and ruled her kingdom with great wisdom and compassion.
Queen Gilgamesha's legacy lived on long after her death, as her people remembered her as a brave and inspiring leader who had taught them the value of living life with passion and purpose.
