Description

Kenjiro Shinigami (死神健次郎) is a former JSDF or Japanese Self-Defense Force (自衛隊) where he was previously held with the rank of Captain. Initially, he participated in the war against the Combine, to be precise during the Seven Hour War where he sent a bunch of the Japanese combat battalions to several points to slow down the Combine troops who were ambushing Tokyo along with the cooperated soldiers be it from the American or other Asian allies. however, after several months of fighting against the Combine, the human side has admitted defeat and the earth surrendered to the Combine where they have heard a speech from the president of the United States that the humanity must now surrender and accept the fate of their defeat where the Combine occupied the earth.

hearing this news, Kenjiro could not accept the fact that humanity must submit and comply with all the requests made by the Combine including disbanding all worldwide armies and replacing them with the only armed forces known as OTA or Overwatch Transhuman Arms. so it can be concluded that after the earth surrendered to the Combine, all countries were immediately acquired by the Combine and turned them into their colonies, including using humans as their soldiers and taking all of the earth's resources for their own interests. for Japan now it has also fallen into the hands of the Combine where they changed the capital city of Tokyo to City 8.

and now, Kenjiro's intention is still unanimous not to obey and listen to what the Combines are be it at collaborating, working together and so on for their prosperity but this is just a trick where the Combines have their own goal of annihilating the human race and seizing the whole resources. until now, the Japanese people who disobeyed and rejected the existence of the Combine immediately carried out a rebellion against the Combine to expel them from the Japanese soil by means of terrorism, seizing their technology and weapons so they could be used against them back.

all former soldiers of the JSDF troops also participated against the Combines either in disguise and there were also those who committed sudden betrayal and supported the Japanese in winning the war against the Combines and they also aimed to contact the other countries who were experiencing a revolutionary movements to immediately help them from land, sea and air in order to cast away the Combine from Asia. for now, Tokyo is still under command of the Combine and is still called City 8 and has not been officially liberated by the rebels since their forces are still outnumbered by the Combine but this won't be a the end for them during The Uprising of the European People.

at this time, all the remaining Japanese Rebels are still hiding outside of the City 8 be it on the suburbs or in a sewers far away from the Citadel or might beneath it. for those who were already free from the Combine or can be said to be as a Refugees are joining the Resistance as well in order to liberate Japan from the Combine's clench.
