In Malaysia, we have a summer festival called Bon Odori that started off as a way for Japanese expats to help keep their children living abroad acquainted with traditional Japanese culture. Now, it has evolved to be a sort of cultural exchange to help build stronger ties between the people of Malaysia and Japan.

It's a great time to try delicious snacks, see people dressed in traditional attire, and spend time with the community. Though I ate some delicious snacks last night, my favorite part was definitely seeing people dressed in the different clothing, especially the men of course.
