Important Notes:I have no archery training; `jademacalla was kind enough to allow me to use his bow and give me some basic tips. Thus, these are probably not accurate references for a skilled archer. These photos were taken with a non-realistic approach to archery in mind; they are more geared to the magical and the fantasy. Please consider this when using them for reference.
Please refrain from making comments about the model's ability. I am already aware of the shortcomings of the technical aspects.

If you're ever interested, you should totally get into archery. It's not that hard to figure out how to hold a bow- but it takes LOTS of experience to perfect it... so anyone critiquing you just shouldn't use your stock. XD But anyways, archery is awesome. :3

That awkward moment when you don't understand why these keep hitting the front page of an art site. Even more of an awkward moment when art is classified as something that can ALWAYS be critiqued, yet this person claims " CRITIQUE NOT DESIRED ". Nice one.

Art isn't classified as such. ANYTHING can be critiqued. Just because it can be critiqued, doesn't mean that it is wanted.
DeviantArt has a stock section. People use stock as references. Some people use DeviantArt to share their stock, and people find them useful. The more popular something is, the more likely it is to show up on the main page. THAT is why stock images show up on the front page often.
Oh, and neither of those things were really that awkward, so why you find it necessary to use an overused internet meme to make a point, I don't really understand.
