Important Notes:I have no archery training; `jademacalla was kind enough to allow me to use his bow and give me some basic tips. Thus, these are probably not accurate references for a skilled archer. These photos were taken with a non-realistic approach to archery in mind; they are more geared to the magical and the fantasy. Please consider this when using them for reference.
Please refrain from making comments about the model's ability. I am already aware of the shortcomings of the technical aspects.

First off thank you for having the arrow on the correct side of the bow shaft. It a small thing I know but one that is a constant irritant to those of us use practice archery as a sport and/or bow hunt.
Secondly any chance of seeing you do the same poses with a simple self bow? (AKA longbow)
I know it may sound like a strange request, but the body mechanics of holding a traditional longbow and a modern ergonomic re-curve bow of the same pound pull is surprisingly different.

This is the only bow I think `jademacalla had at the shoot we did so I think it's this same one in every image. However, my male model that I am seriously definitely doing a shoot with soon has a long bow and hopefully we will do a lot more with that.

Well Jade must give good directions because you're 99% right for a recurve. Only thing I could see is from a strict target shooting posture a recurve should always be straight up and down with no cantering to either side (which is very different from a longbow which should be cantered a bit)
