Description
I decided to remake the lore around the first species I ever made. Dahs have been through several changes to their design and lore so I decided to reference some of the older designs by making variations in the Dah species.

General Dah information (this information is true for all variants of Dahs.): Dahs are very good parents, Momma Dahs will literally fight a bear and win just to protect their pups. Male Dahs usually stay with their mates to help hunt food to give to the pups. Dahs usually live in packs of at least 20, a dominant alpha Dah is usually in charge of the pack, the alphas are usually older because a Dahs goat-like horns get longer and deadlier as they grow. A older Dah with long horns is extremely deadly in fights, a headbutt from one can cause major damage to a foe.

Here is the lore for the variants:

The Ancestor: these creatures are what modern day Dahs evolved from. These creatures were apex predators and could survive in most environments. Eventually they evolved to better fit the changing landscape of Dahsion Major (the Dahs home planet), The Ancestor variant completely disappeared after awhile, scientists were able to revive this variant by using DNA and science stuff that I am too lazy to explain

The Fast Boi: the variant that followed the ancestors, this variant of Dahs are very skilled hunters and are extremely fast, their top running speed is 80 MPH. They are also very agile. They usually live in flat plains or forestse, however, they have been found in mountainous areas. They are cautious when encountering humans but rarely show hostility unless provoked. A variant of Dahs is very similar to the fast bois but are domesticated. Fast boi Dah pups usually stay in underground dens that their parents dig out. This variant are omnivores. Their diet consists of rabbits, squirrels, mice, birds, and most fruits.

The seals: this variant of Dahs lost their back legs but gained a second tail. They are able to swim and actually can breathe underwater and on land. They usually make their nests near bodies of water and can be found in large groups resting on rocks near the water. They aren’t as strong as the ancestors or the fast bois but they have a deadly venom in their teeth that makes any predators think twice about attacking. Seal Dah pups are usually covered in a ton of fur, even more fur then the adults (which is impressive because all dah variants are very fluffy.). Their diet consists of fish and seaweed.

The noodles: the only Dah variant without horns. What they lack in head butting power they make up with their venom and bite force. noodle Dahs usually live underground or in mountain caves, it seems like they lost their limbs to be able to fit into narrow caves, it isn’t yet known why they would need to fit into narrow caves. Noodle Dah pups are about the size of a ball python. Noodle Dahs are omnivores and their diet is usually bats and tree leaves (if a tree is growing nearby. Trees are usually nearby to noodle Dah caves because noodle Dahs live in mountainous areas with a lot of forests.). Noodle Dah venom is even more deadly then Seal Dah venom.
