I just found out today that Michael Angelis, the longest running narrator of Thomas and Friends, has sadly passed away and I was shocked and dismayed. A fine time for this to happen, during the 75th anniversary of the franchise. He was a vital part of my childhood and I just cannot believe this has happened. He was only 68. And as you can see, many of the engines are showing their sorrow for Michael's passing. But as long as the legacy he left on the franchise will never be forgotten, everything will be alright. And, as a certain song goes, every cloud has a silver lining.
