Description  After such an exhausting day everyone on the reserve just wanted to go to bed. The Gengar were quick to leave after Lore defeated their mother and the anxiety over Amber’s health was forgotten as soon as the plushie woke her. Unfortunately for the tired residents the plushie insisted they celebrate the victory with a slumber party! By that they mean staying up all night playing games, eating treats, and swapping stories. A large campfire was made in the middle of the reserve.

Some took to the festivities head on, accepting the new odd pokemon like long lost friends. Others were more suspicious of them and their motives.

“Sure was lucky the plushies came when they did.” Kitsune said between mouthfuls of marshmallows.

Kur snorted and glared at the plushies. *Humph* “A bit too coincidental if you asked me.”

“They didn't exactly help with the Gengar problem” Mihos agreed. He didn't like agreeing with Kur, but something about those new ‘Mon made his fur bristle.

“Oh-ho! Kur and Mihos getting along for once? Pinch me, I must be dreaming.” Joked Athena.

Mihos bristled at that. “Shut it Hound! I may not like the ant but at least he fought to protect the territory and the subject living here.”

Kur rolled his eyes. “You don't still have the delusion that you're the top ‘mon here do you? Because I have a few moves that would easily show you different.”

“I seem to remember taking down more Gengar than you did.”

“I'm a ground type idiot, I only had one move that could hit them. If I remember correctly from our last battle, you don't have any decent moves that could hit me either.”

“Grrrr! Oh yeah? You're always boasting about being the “first dragon” of the territory, but you're still a Trapinch, you don't even gain the typing until you evolve! Do us all a favor and stop pretending to be an almighty dragon while you're nothing but a bug!”

They were nose-to-nose now, with lightning flashing from their eyes.

“ENOUGH!” Acantha shouted, stomping her hoof down to stop the two quarreling ‘mon.

Everyone was stunned into silence, Acantha was normally so docile, quiet and polite. They had never heard her raise her voice or seen her angry, and right now she was angry.

She took a breath to calm herself. “Thanatos was hurt in the fighting and needs to rest and all your fighting is keeping him up with all your alpha talk.” She rolled her eyes. “You know, I wouldn't be surprised is Thanatos battled three times as many Gengar as the two of you, and do you see him fighting to be in charge? No. That's not what he was fighting for, he was fighting for his family, his friends and his home. He saw his home in danger and he acted. You talk about being suspicious of these new plush ‘mon? Well confront them! Ask what they were doing around here when the Gengar attacked. Instead of playing whose best, why don't you actually act like you're serious. If any leader were to be appointed, they'd be in charge of protecting the reserve and the ‘mon living here! If it were up to me, I'd leave it to the Houndour.”

“WHAT!?” Mihos was Outraged. “You’d leave it to these Curs!?”

“What?” Kur reacted to his name.

Before Mihos could react to Kur he found Acantha in both their faces. “YES I would! Need I remind you that Lore defeated the Mega Gengar and Athena made the plan that gave us an actual idea of what to do, and I doubt I need to mention what Thanatos went through to you again. And what have you done? Either of you!” She glared at them both in turn.

Both Mihos and Kur lowered their eyes from hers.

“That’s what I thought, now STOP. FIGHTING.” She stomped off back to where she and Thanatos had made their resting spot.

It stayed quiet where she left for a while, they were all too stunned to speak.

Athena was first to break the silence. “So… Rough and tough alpha males, what are you going to do now?”

Kur and Mihos looked at eachother, still a little dazed.

“I guess… we go talk to the plush ‘mon.”
