Something I wish to tell my supporters about why I set up a payment, and why my price is relatively high.
The place I live in is not a welfare society. My life is not guaranteed. There will be no food stamps or relief funds. No matter how difficult it is, I can only rely on myself. so sadly there is no way for me to be an artist who don’t need to consider money.
Because of the problem of piracy, I face the risk of not being able to recover the cost, so I have a tendency to set higher prices in terms of pricing, which is also the tendency of many other content producers and artists. But this approach has increased the burden on my supporters. When I can ensure cost recovery, I am actually willing to set a lower price.
If it is set to no-download, it will not eliminate the problem of piracy, but it prevents my supporters from collecting my works on their hard drives. If a watermark is set, it will affect the user experience, and it will not prevent piracy. So after trying the above methods briefly, I cancelled it.
If I was born in Northern Europe or in a rich country like the United Kingdom, I might be able to be an artist who does not need to think about money.
