Sometimes, only 4 colors is what you need. But how can you bring variety to such limited pool of shades?
This particular set may answer the question. Thanks to Lospec, I have many Game Boy-esque palettes to work with. Here's the thing, though: the original hardware required a specific amount of light to properly see the action. I've figured, "Let's take this stuff up a notch for a challenge!" - and the rest is history. The whole Soft Breeze stuff was completely devised from scratch just to show off the potential. The bigger "level" you choose, the harder playing experience gets. This is the same approach I've decided to use going forward with more 4-color sets coming later down the road.

Every palette of this collection sports RGB and HEX colors for easy replication. If you have BGB or Gambatte as your emulators of choice, you can add this stuff easily.
