Rae let out a slight yawn as she finished partially braiding sesame’s mane while she could have finished braiding it completely she also had a good couple of hours before their Hunter under saddle class and her anxiety would get the better of her if she didn’t have anything to keep her occupied AND it would also prevent sesame to have any chance to roll and get dirty or mess up her mane and tail which was the mare specialty therefore she decided to only do a partial braid she could hear some of the smaller kids giggling as they pet sesame the Tobiano mare nuzzling them with the occasional lick, sesame was an utter sweetheart and had a heart of old, which is something Rae had come to treasure with the mare, it wasn’t something she was Expecting to get when she first got sesame but she couldn’t have asked for a better horse, sesame knew Rae’s every move possibly before Rae even knew herself! It was also why she was currently looking for potential studs for sesame, however It seemed as if any potential studs didn’t fit for sesame be it their personality or their “work ethic” while Rae wanted a foal with drive she didn’t want to have a foal with no heart behind their drive! Rea felt herself be pulled from her own head courtesy of a soft pink nose tickling her cheek owned by a certain mare, letting out a slight giggle Rae placed a finger on sesame’s nose tapping it “thanks ses, you always know when to pull me out of my head” Rae said softly placing a kiss on the mares nose her arms hugging the mare’s face the two enjoying a quiet snuggle.

Rae stood with sesame inside of the indoor arena as the judges assessed the mares.Looking at everyone and their mares she recognized OCF’s Mare sangria, she had seen the mare in pictures Eli had sent shadow hills group chat updating them on their trip to the WEC. She also recognized BTE Vanilla Princess, having seen photos from Erin while she was scrolling through on her phone trying to keep herself from metaphorically biting everyone’s heads off since Erin was on a no riding rest due to a blood pressure issue due to her being pregnant, Rae looked towards the stands where she saw Erin sitting with Emery and colt from OCF the small group chatting and laughing most likely catching up and just a few feet away she saw Eli and Austin the pair giggling to each other she couldn’t help but let out a quiet laugh the two were absolutely crushing on each other though it seemed neither of them realized it, Rae’s attention was then brought to sesame whole let out a soft sigh the mares eyes closed and rea realized that her beloved Australian ranch horse had completely fallen asleep during the class!
