Well here I am doing a show piece for the first time in like 80 years lol but I will say it's nice getting to see where I started and where I am now art wise, you got details, shadows a whole background which if you know me and backgrounds I absolutely despise them sometimes and even a small story.

Alma let out a relived sigh as she finished Vegas’s mane making sure to praise the mare with a firm pat to the neck and a gave the mare a peppermint laughing a bit as the mare snorted at it before begrudgingly taking the pepper in “sorry Vegas I’m fresh out of cheese pizza I’ll get you a slice when we get home” alma said scratching the mare between the eyes with a light laugh it was Alma’s first show in a while especially since graduating from college as a vet, moving to Texas and opening up her own practice and opening shadow hill equestrian center, which meant that wings her usual mount for shows had gotten to stay home due to lack of show jumping practice the pair had gotten instead alma had choose to take Vegas and king and do dressage and hunt seat instead of show jumping, finishing buttoning up her coat alma let out a deep breath before grabbing the mares Reins “alright Vegas let’s show them what we are made of she said patting the mares neck before mounting Vegas as the pair mare their way into the arena Vegas’s ears perked forward the mares gait becoming more smooth and pronounced ‘always the show off’ Alma thought before pulling Vegas to a stop before saluting and taking a moment to catch her breath as the pair started their performance.
