Edit: This reference sheet is currently OUT OF DATE!I made this ref. sheet for the purpose of magic class which is why I titled it this way, but honestly it works just fine as a general ref sheet for Lucifer too. I just don't know how long I'll keep Lucifer in this stage of his design, so it might not be relevant for too long... Who knows? (For that same reason, I'm not listing out his all upgrades!)
Aaaaanyway, I figured if anyone wanted to draw Lucifer during this month's magic class, they'd need a good reference for his freeform markings, lol! They look complicated, but they're just a bunch of swirls that I don't pay too much attention to. They end in those two prongs on his shoulders, and then swirl into spirals at the end of his tail--is what I generally think about when I'm drawing them. Also don't forget that lil' cross between his eyebrows.
I really wasn't in the mood for drawing Lucifer both front and back so I took his front view from the color mix image I made not too long ago, which I kind of feel weird about doing, but also this was supposed to be a relatively quick ref. sheet, so it's fiiiiiine. I also mimicked the theme from that image too, ha ha! I drew that lil' bust shot of Lucifer days ago before I finished his basic water magic because I realized I had no idea how to draw his hair with his ears. Plus I was able to work out how his placements meet up at his neck, so that's fun~~
Okay, I'm done talking. Boy do ref. sheets wear me out!
