I usually dont explain my work, but this might ask for a short explanation.
When I was a kid I had a lot of pets. Part of having pets is that they only live for a short while, and at a young age this is often the first encounter people have with death. I used to bury my pets in the garden, small ones like canaries or parakeets I put into a light bulb box.
The act of putting a light bulb box into the ground has always been a fascinating idea for me. Light/life fades and is put in the ground. Also, facing death like this might seem a small occassion in life aftwerwards, but we all remember how it hit us when we were young.
Well... I'm not a writer and like I said... this is why I hardly ever discuss my work lol
